In India start-up companies had become the biggest recruiters of new graduates.

Attractive salaries made the jobs enticing. But many of those jobs didn't materialise and now universities are fighting back - with 31 companies told they are not welcome to hire on the campuses of some of the country's most prestigious colleges.
