DC blizzard: How bad will it get?

Washington DC is bracing itself for a potentially historic snow storm over the weekend.

Early snowfall on Wednesday brought the city to a grinding halt and residents have been urged to stock up on supplies.

Meteorologists predict that as much as 30 inches (76 cm) will fall in the capital area.
