Egyptian army pulls back from Cairo clashes

The BBC's Ian Pannell says that the Egyptian military has had to pull back from some positions as anti-government and pro-President Mubarak demonstrators clash.

The army had attempted to keep the two opposing protest groups separate but those demanding that President Hosni Mubarak step down immediately have forced his supporters away.
