Volvo sees opportunities in Asia

The Swedish truck and construction equipment maker Volvo said the slowing global economy is having an impact on its business.

However, the company added that new investments in infrastructure in countries like China and India will help offset the slowdown in more established markets.

Volvo's Group Senior Vice President, Par Ostberg told the BBC's Sharanjit Leyl that while market conditions seem rough at the moment, the longer term prospects are more favourable.
