Rise in private security in Lebanon


According to recent research, the private security sector employs more than 19 million people worldwide.

A study by the Geneva based Small Arms Survey claims that there are now more private security personnel than police.

Lebanon is one country where the private sector is meeting the needs for businesses and VIPs who do not feel government security is enough to keep them safe.
