India's mango prices soar because of late monsoon

India releases its key inflation figures later on Monday and the wholesale price index is expected to have risen by more than 8% in April, compared to a year ago.

Yet while the rate of inflation may be easing, food prices remain extremely high. The cost of fruit, for example, has gone up by a third in the past year.

Among the biggest hikes is India's king of fruits, the mango, as the BBC's Rajini Vaidyanathan reports from Mumbai.
