A security alert at a shopping centre in west Belfast has been declared a hoax.

Army technical officers were called after a Citroen van was abandoned in the car park of the Park Centre.

The owner of the vehicle was instructed to leave it there by two men who called to his home in the west Belfast area.

The Donegall Road was cordoned off for a time at its junction with the Broadway roundabout.
