Three men released in Belfast dissident investigation


Three men arrested in Belfast in connection with dissident republican activity have been released.

They were detained in the north of the city early on Monday morning.

The men, aged 41, 42 and 46, were taken to Antrim police station for questioning, but were released on Tuesday.

The arrests were not connected to the disorder in north Belfast on Sunday night and in the early hours of Monday, a police spokeswoman said.
