Man rescued after fall from Dorset coast cliff

A climber who fell from cliffs on the Dorset coast escaped with a suspected dislocated knee.

Coastguards were called by police at 1144 BST after reports that a man fell at Dancing Ledge, near Langton Matravers.

The St Albans Head cliff rescue team and the Portland coastguard helicopter were called at 1144 BST.

The man was airlifted to Dorchester before being transferred to Dorset County Hospital by ambulance.
