A 49-year-old woman was attacked with a knife at a house. A 15-year-old girl and an 11-year-old were also assaulted.

Thames Valley Police have until 2100 BST on Saturday to question the man.

Girls grabbed

The extension was granted by Slough magistrates on Friday.

The woman was attacked at a property in Meadfield Road. She suffered a cut to her head and was taken to hospital.

The 15-year-old girl was assaulted by a man who tried to drag her into a garden as she walked to school along Trelawney Avenue.

A few minutes later an 11-year-old girl was grabbed on the same road. Both girls managed to run away.
