Arrest made after Jersey bank break-in

A 19-year-old man has been arrested by police in connection with a break-in at a bank in Jersey.

The break-in, at ABN Amro in Castle Street, St Helier, was reported to police in the early hours of Sunday.

Following the break-in, a teenager was taken to hospital from the bank with serious injuries but police said he is no longer receiving treatment.

The 19-year-old man was released on bail, pending further inquiries.
