Woman compensated for children's home abuse

The Church of England has paid substantial damages to a woman who claims she was forcibly drugged and subjected to physical and sexual abuse while in the care of a children's home run by the church.

Teresa Cooper has spent the past 18 years trying to expose what happened in the home in the 1980s.

In agreeing the out-of-court settlement, the church has not accepted liability.

The BBC's Alison Holt reports.
