Trio remanded over landfill body murder in Shropshire

Three people have been remanded in custody on suspicion of murdering a 43-year-old father-of-three whose body was found at a landfill site in Shropshire.

Stephen Round's body was found on Friday morning at the site in Grange Lane, Redhill, close to Granville Country Park.

Two women, aged 27 and 21, and a man, aged 30, were arrested on Saturday.

They appeared at Telford Magistrates Court and were ordered to appear in Shrewsbury Crown Court on 9 July.

Zena Tinsley, 27, from Boulton Grange, Telford, Melissa Parkes, 21, and James Haigh, 30, both of Church Street, in St Georges, Telford, spoke only to confirm their names.

They are accused of killing Mr Round some time between 27 June and 2 July.
