Boy accused of raping girl, 4, in Buckinghamshire
A boy has gone on trial accused of raping a four-year-old girl as she played in a Buckinghamshire park.
Huntingdon Crown Court heard her mother found her partially undressed in bushes at Emberton Country Park near Milton Keynes, on 13 August last year.
Twelve days after the attack police arrested the alleged offender when the girl saw him in an Olney Co-op store.
The boy, who was 16 at the time of the alleged attack and cannot be named, denies the offence.
The jury heard the girl had given police a detailed description of her alleged attacker's T-shirt.
She then identified the accused to her mother in a Co-op store because he was wearing the same T-shirt, the court was told.
The trial continues.
