Rothbury resident: 'There's not a soul on the streets'


A shopkeeper has been describing the scene in Rothbury, Northumberland, where police have asked people to stay indoors as they search for fugitive Raoul Moat.

David Phillips, who runs a newsagents, said he had customers locked in his shop and that the streets of the town were deserted.

Moat, 38, has been on the run since allegedly shooting three people, killing one of them, on Saturday.
