A security alert at Hydebank Wood young offenders centre in south Belfast has ended.
Visits to the centre had been cancelled as a result of the alert but are set to resume on Tuesday.
Opened in 1979, Hydebank Wood accommodates around 200 male young offenders aged from 16 to 21 in four separate residential units.
It shares a site with Northern Ireland's women's prison.
On Monday, a suspicious object was found in the grounds of Maghaberry prison in County Antrim. It was later declared an elaborate hoax.
