Shabby leaves Big Brother house

Big Brother housemate Shabby has quit the Channel 4 show just days after she was saved from eviction by the public.

The 24-year-old actress and "professional squatter" walked out of the house on Monday without saying goodbye to her fellow housemates.

She had previously expressed a desire to leave the show.

Shabby was up for eviction on Friday alongside Sunshine and Caoimhe. Medical student Sunshine eventually lost the public vote.

It meant Caoimhe and Shabby remained in the house, where they have become close, after making a pact to leave together if one was evicted.

On Sunday night both Shabby and Caoimhe asked Big Brother if they could leave after an argument with fellow housemate Ife, and a dispute with others following a party, but Shabby left the house alone.

This year's Big Brother is the reality show's 11th and final series.

The winner of the current crop of housemates will be joined by previous winners and notable contestants to determine the ultimate Big Brother champion for a two-week special to mark its departure.
