Two men in hospital after stabbing in Cheltenham

Two men are in hospital following a stabbing incident in Cheltenham.

Police were called to Monks Croft in Hesters Way in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 27-year-old is being treated for facial injuries. A man, aged 49, was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with wounds to his arm and leg.

Both are said to be in a stable condition. Six people were arrested in connection with the incident. A 49-year-old man remains in police custody.

Two men, aged 27 and 48, were released on bail pending more inquiries.

Three women, aged 21, 43 and 48, have been released without charged.
