Wanted men held by Lancashire Police after TV appeal

Four men wanted by police in Lancashire have been located and arrested following a television appeal.

A total of 37 faces were featured on the BBC's Crimewatch Roadshow when it visited the county last month.

Since then, four men have been arrested and police are applying for four European arrest warrants against another four men.

Lancashire Police said they also had excellent leads on eight others and thanked the public for their help.

Inspector John Clucas said: "What we have done is to show our commitment to arresting those who are wanted.

"As always, I'd like to reassure the public that as a force we have a high success rate of returning people to prison and use all means available to us that we can to ensure that we catch these people."
