Men thrown from watercraft saved off Hampshire coast
Three men had to be rescued when they were thrown from a personal watercraft into the sea off Hampshire.
One of the men did not have a life-jacket and was forced to cling to the other two after the incident off Calshot on Sunday afternoon.
As a result, all three, from Bracknell in Berkshire, were unable to swim back to the watercraft which drifted away.
They were spotted 15 minutes later by boats in the area and taken to hospital. They were later released.
The RNLI, which helped in the rescue, said the situation was made worse by the lack of a life-jacket.
