Farm equipment stolen in Cumbria

Farm equipment has been stolen from two rural workshops in south Cumbria, police have said.

Hand-held tools worth approximately £3,500 were stolen from the farm buildings in Haverthwaite and Broughton-in-Furness.

The incidents are believed to have taken place late on Thursday night.

Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have seen suspicious vehicles in the areas has been asked to come forward.
