Lorry driver arrested after fatal A1 crash
A lorry driver has been arrested over the death of a teenager after a collision on the A1 in North Yorkshire.
Ryan Gregg suffered head injuries when a lorry collided with the stationary roadworks vehicle he was in opposite Marne Barracks, Catterick, on 24 June.
The 18-year-old, of Ashington, Northumberland, died on Tuesday.
Police said the lorry driver, 51, of Grantham, Lincolnshire, had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
Police have urged witnesses to the crash, which happened shortly after midnight, to contact them.
