'Armed' pair raid Post Office van in Tunbridge Wells

Two men thought to be armed with a gun have robbed a Post Office van in Kent and stolen cash.

Kent Police said the robbers raided the van in Tunbridge Wells, on Friday afternoon.

Officers said they assaulted the driver and demanded money. After the incident, the crime scene was cordoned off and the police helicopter was scrambled.

Police later said arrests had been made but gave no further details. It is not yet known how much cash was taken.

The incident is being dealt with as a suspected armed robbery.
