Woman in Barnstaple loo rescued by fire crews

A Devon fire crew had to release a woman from a public toilet after her finger got stuck in the push button mechanism of the flush.

The crew was sent to the premises in Eastern Avenue in Barnstaple at about 1910 BST.

The woman's finger was released by members of the fire crew who operated some small tools on the button.

She was not injured in the incident, the fire service said.
