Jersey's Royal British Legion plans military tattoo

A military tattoo will be held in Jersey for the first time, the Royal British Legion (RBL) has announced.

The Jersey RBL branch said having such an event should help to raise awareness of local military charities.

The tattoo will commemorate those who died for their country and those who are in currently in active service, branch chairman Ken Soar said.

Featuring the Royal Artillery Band and the Caledonian Pipe Band, the tattoo will take place in November.
