EU data roaming: Your comments

Greater protection to prevent consumers from running up large data bills when using the internet overseas, has come into force across the European Union.

Users will be automatically cut off when their monthly bill reaches 50 euros ($61; £41), excluding VAT. They can set their own monthly cut-off point by contacting their provider.
