Five people bailed following Shrewsbury drugs raids

Four suspected drug dealers arrested in a series of early morning raids in Shrewsbury have been bailed.

They were released pending further inquires by police after suspected cocaine and crack cocaine worth around £6,000 was seized.

Seven people were arrested in raids on five houses in the Harlescott area of Shrewsbury on Wednesday.

Two men were cautioned for possession of cannabis and a teenage girl bailed, also for possession of cannabis.

Cannabis worth around £100 was also seized.

More than 30 officers took part in the raids in York Road, Dutton Green and Rutland in Harlescott on Wednesday.
