Bus carrying schoolchildren hits bridge in Flintshire

A double-decker bus carrying about 40 children has collided with a railway bridge as it was driven underneath.

Nobody was injured in the incident, which happened on Llay Road in Cefn-y-Bedd, Flinshire.

One fire engine was sent to the scene at 1455 BST after ambulance services alerted them.

North Wales Fire Service said they ensured everything at the scene was safe before leaving 25 minutes later.
