Tourists trapped inside Castell Coch, Cardiff


Visitors to a Victorian castle on the outskirts of Cardiff were trapped for about three hours after a crane due to carry out basic maintenance triggered and raised the drawbridge.

The tourists were entertained by staff in Castell Coch - which means Red Castle in Welsh - with a sword fighting demonstration while fire crews winched the maintenance vehicle out of the moat.
