Car driver dies after crash on A30 in Devon

A car driver has died after a road crash in Devon.

The driver, aged in his 70s, collided with a van on the A30 near Rawride, Honiton, at 1330 BST on Tuesday.

He was airlifted to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with serious injuries but died on Tuesday night, said a police spokesman.

Police officers investigating the incident want to speak to any witnesses who saw the crash, or who saw the vehicles before the accident.
