Power cut affects about 200 homes in Port St Mary

About 200 homes on the Isle of Man were without power on Wednesday morning.

The Manx Electricity Authority (MEA) said the householders were affected in the Port St Mary area of the island at about 0900 BST.

An MEA spokeswoman said engineers were on site working to restore power as quickly as possible.

She confirmed the supplies had been restored just after 1100 BST. The MEA has apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
