Man charged over chef stab attack in East Oxford

A 37-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a chef was stabbed in a Chinese restaurant in East Oxford.

Teoh John, of no fixed abode, has been detained until his court appearance. No date has yet been set.

The victim, in his early-20s, has been discharged from the John Radcliffe Hospital after suffering stab wounds to his head and chest.

The attack happened on Monday night at the Red Star on the Cowley Road.
