Warning over Northamptonshire horse drug burglary

Horse painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs have been stolen during a burglary in Northamptonshire which could be fatal if consumed by humans.

About 75 sachets of Equipalazone and 25 sachets of Danilon were taken in a burglary in Harpole on Sunday.

The drugs are prescribed by vets for equine use only and can be fatal if ingested.

Police are urging people not to take them if offered and to hand them in to a police station or pharmacist.
