An entire Cotswold street is on the market for £1.5m.

Whoever buys Barton Court in Cirencester will own 24 flats, a maisonette, a cottage, a retail unit and a range of gardens.

The flats, which are owned by a housing association, would probably continue to be used as rental properties.

Estate agent Robert Anthony said £1.5m is a guide for auction and "our fingers are crossed the final figure is substantially higher."

The property will be sold by "informal tender" whereby sealed bids will be opened on the same day and the highest offer accepted.

The terrace is built on 16th Century remains, and the whole street is in a conservation area.

The final date for submitting offers is July 26.
