Man charged over West Bridgford bookmaker robbery

A 36-year-old man has been charged following a robbery at a bookmaker's in Nottingham.

The incident took place at Betfred on Central Avenue in West Bridgford on 9 May.

A worker was threatened with a knife and locked in a toilet. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

The 36-year-old man, from West Bridgford, has been released on police bail and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on 6 July.
