Students live in cabins to prepare for university


With A-level exams coming to an end, many sixth form students' thoughts are turning to life at university.

For many it will be the first time away from home and the first time without parents on hand to help.

For some fending for themselves is a real eye opener.

One school in Staffordshire has come up with a novel idea to help make the transition easier.

Ben Sidwell talks to Steve Fairclough, headmaster at Abbotsholme School, and some of the pupils taking part in a university preparation experiment.
