Man airlifted after serious crash in Berkshire

A man suffered serious head injuries in a crash which closed a busy seven-mile stretch of road in Berkshire.

The driver of a Volkswagen Golf was cut from his car after it crashed into the central reservation and rolled over on the A329 near Bracknell.

The accident happened just before 0900 BST. The man was taken by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

The southbound A329 and A329M from junction 10 of the M4 to the Bracknell remained closed until about 1300 BST.
