Child airlifted with back injury

A two year-old girl has been airlifted from Dinas Dinlle to hospital at Bangor with a suspected back injury.

Holyhead Coastguards were alerted to the incident at 1210 BST involving the youngster from Greater Manchester who was on holiday with her family.

Llandwrog coastguard rescue team first went to investigate and then the North Wales air ambulance took the girl to hospital.

Coastguards said there was no apparent cause for the girl's injury.
