Coach fire near Holywell brings A55 disruption

A coach fire has brought delays on the eastbound carriageway of one of the main road routes across north Wales.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the incident on the A55 expressway near Holywell, Flintshire, shortly before 1900 BST.

North Wales Police said the coach caught fire through a mechanical problem. No-one was injured.

One eastbound lane has been closed at junction 32, at Pentre Halkyn. Long delays are reported on Rhuallt Hill.
