Lincoln chemist staff threatened in raid

Staff have been threatened at knife-point during a robbery at a Lincoln chemist.

A man walked into the Co-operative Chemist on Monks Road at about 1510 BST on Thursday and demanded Diazepam.

He was given the drugs, which he put into a bag before leaving the scene. No-one was injured during the incident.

The man had dark glasses, a hat and a black and red striped wig. He was wearing a black coat and blue surgical gloves.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
