World 'can't rely as much on US' says Geithner

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has told the BBC that the world "can not depend as much on the US economy as it did in the past".

In an exclusive interview, he said that other major economies would have to grow more for the global economy to prosper.

However Mr Geithner played down any differences in policy between the US and Europe regarding deficit reduction.

He told the BBC's Katty Kay that the US and Europe "have much more in common that we have differences".
