Man held after death at Nailsea pub

A 45-year-old man has been arrested following a death at a pub in Nailsea, North Somerset.

A man, aged 50, was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary with serious head injuries following an incident at the Queen's Head in the High Street.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

Det Insp Mark Rolfe said: "We know the pub was busy last night and lots of people would have seen what happened."
