Man admits killing at Liverpool bus stop


A man has admitted killing a pensioner who died after hitting his head on the ground at a Liverpool bus stop.

Thomas Muldoon, 70, from Tuebrook, was pushed to the ground in a fight in Sheil Road, Kensington, on 4 June.

John Baker, 56, from Beaconsfield Street, Toxteth, admitted manslaughter when he appeared via videolink at Liverpool Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced at the same court on 12 July.
