Thousands of motorists have been delayed for hours following a lorry fire on a main road in Cambridgeshire.
The lorry caught fire at about 0500 BST on the A14 eastbound at Girton near Cambridge between the Girton/Cloverleaf and Histon interchange.
The road was closed for several hours while firefighters tackled the flames, which caused 30 miles (48km) of congestion along the A14, M11 and A428.
A fire service spokesman said the cause of the fire was accidental.
The fire started in the trailer which was carrying building materials, leaflets, commercial cookers and air conditioning units.
Cambridgeshire Police said restrictions were expected to remain in place well into the afternoon while recovery and clean up takes place.
