New dispersal order to combat street drinkers in Slough

A dispersal order is being introduced in a part of Slough following complaints about street drinkers.

Residents have raised concerns about groups gathering outside homeless hostel Serena Hall in Burlington Avenue, Chalvey, said police.

The order comes into force on 25 June and runs until 23 September.

Anyone who remains in the area after being told to leave faces imprisonment for up to three months and fines of up to £2,500.

The order includes Windsor Road, Stoke Poges Lane, Farnham Road as well as Chalvey Road West and Chalvey Road East.
