Man held after diazepam recovered in Aberdeen

A man has been charged after what police described as a "substantial" quantity of drugs were recovered in Aberdeen.

The diazepam tablets were seized from a house on Whitehall Place in the Rosemount area on Saturday.

Grampian Police said the recovery was made following an intelligence-led operation.

A force spokesperson said a 30-year-old man was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
