Gas blast at Nottingham house injures man and woman


Two people have been injured in a gas explosion at a house in Nottingham.

Fire crews were called to the end-terrace house in the Stockhill area shortly before 2100 BST.

A man and woman were rescued from the rubble at the scene and taken by ambulance to the city's Queen's Medical Centre. Their condition is not known.

Nottinghamshire fire service said the property was badly damaged and officers were waiting for a structural engineer to assess the damage.
