Police searching for a missing Lincolnshire GP have released images showing him visiting a village shop to post a parcel.

Dr James Layfield, of Friskney, is shown wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt at about 1230 BST on Saturday 12 June.

The doctor, who works at the Beacon Medical Practice in Skegness, was last seen by a neighbour that evening.

Lincolnshire Police said Dr Layfield's disappearance was "out of character" and appealed for witnesses.

Police underwater search teams have been searching lakes near his home and officers were also investigating his movements prior to his disappearance.
