Motorcyclist dies in road crash near Ripple

A motorcyclist has been fatally injured following a collision involving a car in Worcestershire.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A38 near to Ripple at 0930 BST.

The male motorcyclist had suffered multiple injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene.

The male car driver, 71, was trapped in his car for an hour. Rescue crews freed him and he was transferred to Cheltenham General Hospital.
