The owner of a five-star boutique hotel in Edinburgh has been placed in administration.
The Glasshouse, at the top of the city's Leith Walk, is still open for business.
But the Eton Group of hotels, which also includes three small luxury hotels in London and one in Leeds, are being sold on by accountants KPMG.
The Scotsman Hotel is marketed as part of the Eton Collection, but it is not in administration.
Joint administrator and restructuring partner at KPMG, Jane Moriarty, said: "We are continuing to trade the business while we assess the position of the hotels.
"Historically, however, the hotels have traded successfully and are well regarded at the luxury end of the market so we are hopeful of securing a successful resolution to this situation."
